The Life of a Secret Agent

You know, being a Christian - a follower of Christ - is being on a mission. We are rescued from the trap of the enemy and are now freed to, with devotion, follow Christ. Our hero. Our Savior.Lately I've been watching a particular show that covers the life of a secret agent. You see, this agent was recruited to work for a black ops division of the CIA. Or so she was told. After some time, she began to learn that her boss was, in fact, a criminal and was not at all authorized by the government. She was working for the enemy.Can you imagine? Living your whole life and career passionate about what you're doing. Motivated to make the tough decisions because you believed what you represented was about doing bigger, greater things? To then learn. It was all a lie? And every effort, every drip of sweat was for working against what you thought you were working for.That is what it can be for some who believe they are doing the right things in life, making the right choices - and for a positive end goal. Karma, or a way into Heaven by doing good. To then realize that all of that doing good doesn't pave the way. That you have been deceived into thinking that by good actions alone, everything will work out.The truth. Without love it's nothing. And what is love? Well true love is God. He is Love and when He introduces Himself to you and you see the revelation that washes away all of that deception - everything changes.
