Part of the Plan

In the beginning, God created everything.
Galaxies, volcanoes, fireflies, diamonds, oak trees, and great white sharks. Finally, saving the best for last, He created humans in His image—to fill the earth, reign over its creatures, and cultivate a world that magnifies Him.
Even before the beginning, God was already there. He spoke time and space into existence while existing outside of time and space. Long before you were born, He already knew everything about you—your strengths and weaknesses, successes and failures.
He knew all about you and chose to make you… because He loves you deeply and unconditionally! (For real)
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
You are God's handiwork—sometimes translated as masterpiece, workmanship, or work of art. You are God's masterpiece, uniquely crafted with a spirit, personality, and gifts that are yours alone.
Because we know that God is more brilliant than we could ever imagine, and because He loves us more than we could dare to hope, and because we know He writes great stories, we can trust what He has planned from beginning to end.
His divine plan includes you, with a purpose tailored just for you. He has prepared meaningful relationships and impactful work for you to step into.
He has empowered you, yes you, to partner with Him as we experience the most incredible story on earth.
So, considering how God has intentionally designed you and placed you at this specific point in history, what unique passions and callings has He put on your heart? This could be one big thing or several small things that only you can fulfill. As you think about that, what step must you take to pursue your calling with God-given confidence?
I share this with you because I'm in the process of asking myself these questions, too.
Take a moment to reflect and pray about the unique passions and callings God has placed on your heart. Write down one specific step you can take this week to move closer to fulfilling that calling. Whether it's reaching out to someone, starting a project, or simply spending more time praying, commit to acting on it.
Feel free to share your steps in the comments on the social media posts or with a trusted friend for accountability. Let's support and encourage each other as we walk in the purpose God has designed for us.
I have taken the step to write and post on my blog today.
What single step will you take this week to pursue your God-given calling?
